6. Conclusion and outlook
The weaving process involves the synchronization of different elements of the kinematic chain, which independently manipulate the warp and weft yarns. Mastery of the weaving process thus relies on the weaver's ability to adapt the various process parameters to obtain the right setting for the type of yarns used and the type of woven article to be produced. The product parameters of the woven structure produced and their regularity will mainly depend on the adjustment and adaptation of the process parameters on the weaving machine.
Various elements in contact with warp yarns (warp beam, yarn brake, guide eyes, yarn-carrying rollers, heald eye, comb and fabric take-up rollers) and weft yarns (creel, yarn pre-deliverer, insertion system, weft-cutting scissors) can also be modified to adapt to the different nature and type of yarns used.
