8. Main European research and innovation projects
This chapter presents information on typical research projects and recent developments that are helping to reduce atmospheric emissions from the ceramics industry in Europe. In particular, these are projects included in the European LIFE program (European funding instrument for the environment and climate action), which is dedicated to supporting innovative projects, both private and public, in the environmental and climate fields.
