3. Conclusion

Non-oriented FeSi(Al) electrical steels, of major technical and economic importance in the field of electrical engineering, have shown in recent years that they still have the potential to offer technical solutions adapted to the new challenges they face: multifunctional coatings, attenuation of emitted noise, reduction of magnetic losses and/or increase in working induction, high yield strength. These are all new products that are being developed and are already in production to meet the key requirements of energy savings, higher rotation speeds (hybrid vehicles, certain alternators and actuators, etc.) and reduced noise pollution. In this sense, the non-oriented FeSi(Al) steel sector remains a highly dynamic and innovative field, in tune with the times.
