3. Conclusion

Gluing has become a widespread technique for assembling materials as diverse as metals, glass and plastics.

The performance of assemblies produced in this way enables them to be used to join structures that have to withstand high levels of mechanical stress and physical-chemical aggression, and which need to demonstrate reliability and durability (aeronautics, automotive, construction, etc.).

However, to achieve such high performance, it is not only necessary to make an informed choice of adhesive to meet the specifications, but also to follow precise rules for application, and to use the most suitable equipment.
