5. Conclusion

Machine vibration behavior is extremely varied. They are typical of the machine in question. Each machine is the seat of extremely diverse dynamic excitations specific to its operation. Fixed and moving parts are vibrating structures. The whole system lives and responds according to its modal characteristics and damping capacities.

Each vibratory regime generates dynamic stresses that cause parts to fatigue. It is impossible for a machine, whose design is becoming increasingly advanced from an energy point of view, not to vibrate, but all the manufacturer's know-how goes into ensuring that the fatigue strength can withstand these alternating stresses.
