2. Paint film anomalies

When using liquid or powder paints to protect and/or decorate metal substrates, defects can occur either during application or during drying. .

Tables 8 and 9 respectively mention anomalies likely to occur either during application or when paint films are exposed in situ.

Only the most common alterations are presented. Further information can be found in Norme NF T 36-001 of June 1988, published by AFNOR (Association française de normalisation).
