5.1 Areas covered by this article

We won't deal here with problems concerning small-scale metal elements such as street furniture, or industrialized components treated by coil coating on Sendzimir steel or aluminum, which are the subject of a separate normative structure from that for steel elements with a thickness of at least 3 mm, in accordance with the scope of NF EN ISO 12944-1.
