3. Modern enamelware
Over the past 50 years, industrial enameling on metals, and steel in particular, has undergone considerable change, in line with the growing demand from the household electrical appliance sector. At the same time, investments were made in the integrated enameling plants of major industrial groups, with the aim of simplifying processes, boosting productivity and improving enamel coating qualities.
Today, we need to retrace the changes that have taken place since the 1980s, which have harmonized competitiveness with environmental requirements, whether in enameling processes, application techniques or enamel formulations.
