4. Inspection of galvanized parts
The standard NF EN ISO 1461 specifies the checks to be carried out after galvanizing, which must be performed by the galvanizer.
Before galvanizing, to avoid surface deformation and unevenness, avoid :
loose parts ;
contact between parts;
and contact of parts with the floor.
After galvanizing, in the event of damage or surfaces not coated with zinc due to bulk storage, for example, damaged areas can be repaired in compliance with the standard.
