3. Reactive rinses
In addition to their primary role as a barrier against pollution caused by entrainment between two TSVH sequences, rinse reactors can have reactive functions, with immediate or delayed effect. For example, cathodic protection in a dead rinse after electro-galvanizing , or cathodic polarization rinsing of aluminum alloy parts after electro-burnishing are two typical examples of reactive rinses with an immediate effect.
