In production, a good knowledge of the process, meticulous control of parts and daily monitoring of baths help to minimize part reject rates. Unfortunately, this is not always enough to avoid defects. What's more, when a defect appears (lack of metallization or lack of adhesion) (tables 11 , 12 , 13 and 14 ), it's not always easy to define the cause or origin of the problem.
