INTRODUCTION
In this second part, we look at the softening and special heat treatments of engineering steels, such as homogenization, structural refining, normalization, restoration and relaxation. The case of carbon-free heat-treated steels will also be examined. Integral hardening heat treatments are the subject of the first part of this article.
