3. Functionalization of oriented mesoporous films

In order to fully exploit these organized and oriented mesoporous films, we need to be able to modulate their reactivity by functionalizing them with different types of organic groups likely to induce specific properties. Several approaches are possible, as discussed below, but it is the coupling of the EASA method with "click chemistry" that is the most effective and generalizable to many different functional groups.
