Stripping can be used for a wide variety of applications: cleaning (tiles, tags, etc.), renovation (removal of paint or oxide layers), surface preparation (prior to thermal spray coating), etc. Depending on the need and the substrate to be treated, the methods used for stripping are also very different (mechanical, thermal, chemical). As a result, the paint stripping industry is made up of specialized companies whose techniques are used in a wide variety of fields, including the aerospace, nuclear, agri-food and mechanical industries.
