2.1 Different types of tomograph
The various types of tomograph can be classified into 4 main families, depending on the resolution achieved and the energy of the radiation used:
nano-tomographs: the low-energy source delivers photons between 40 and 100 kV. This field generally corresponds to medical applications, but can also be applied to nano-tomography (sub-micron resolution);
