  • blast furnace ironmaking with hematite pig iron (low phosphorus);

  • oxygen converter refining ;

  • no in-pocket treatment apart from deoxidation with aluminum; IRSID then introduced bubbling with argon through a porous plug underneath the pocket to better settle aluminates (figure
