9. Conclusion

Cupolas are among the best technologies available for melting cast iron. Europe is recycling more and more used products, and these become our new raw material. They don't have to be imported, but can be found in our own country. Cupola furnaces have the technology to melt these materials without harming the environment. If foundrymen know their tools well and know how to make the most of them, they will continue to produce in Europe and contribute to sustainable development.
