1. Structural steels

It is not possible in this document to list all the steels used for all possible applications. Tables 1 to 17 present data on the grades most commonly used in steel construction, and in particular those defined by the NF EN 10025 1 to 6 series of standards for the manufacture of welded or riveted or bolted construction elements.

Structural steel products can be subject to conformity assessment for regulatory purposes. In fact, NF EN 10025 was drawn up within the framework of mandate M/120 "Construction metal products and related products" given to CEN by the European Commission and the European Free Trade Association.
