3. Regulations by material – Summary of requirements

The aim here is to list the inertia criteria and texts applicable to each major type of material.

3.1 Plastics and varnishes

  • Inertia criteria to be met

    Good to know:

    • substances used in manufacturing authorized by the positive lists (monomers and additives including colorants) ;

    • overall migration less than 10 mg/dm 2 or 60 mg/kg ;

    • specific migrations lower than LMS.
