2. Classification, types and uses of processed products
Based on our experience and feedback from worksites concerning the various re-uses of our products, we present below the various classification and destination tables we generally use. They are closely based on the principles set out in the GTR, and are taken from the Guide d'Ile de France reissued in 2003 for sand and gravel, and the Guide de la région Rhône-Alpes reissued in 2005 for recomposed gravel.
Depending on their characteristics and classification, recycled materials from the dismantling of civil engineering buildings and structures are successively recycled in the following fields:
earthworks as earthworks materials, including subgrade materials;
as aggregates that can potentially be reused as road base.

3rd Seminar on Earthworks in Europe
("Third International Seminar on Earthworks in Europe")
Following those held in Paris (October 2005) and London (June 2009), this seminar was held in Berlin on March 19 and 20, 2012. Speakers on the theme of European earthworks standardization: Jean-Pierre MAGNAN, Guy RAOUL.
