8. Conclusion

The COSMO-RS theory, first published in 1995, was originally designed to predict the physicochemical properties of liquids with a known molecular structure. . Since this seminal article, the accuracy of predictions has improved and the complexity of the systems that can be understood has increased considerably. The main milestones in these developments are presented chronologically in figure 28 .
