4. Analytical results

Table 1 presents all the extraction methods described in this article, summarizing their main characteristics, i.e. extraction temperatures and their precisions, extraction time and yield, qualitative and quantitative aspects of residual noble gas outgassing (analytical blank), etc., to guide the engineer in his analytical choice. Degassing values, expressed in moles, represent an average obtained from the analytical results of 12 internationally renowned laboratories [Doc. J 6 632]. Sometimes, two distinct values (low limit, high limit) are indicated when the analytical blanks announced in the literature were too disparate from one another.
