2. Plant operation

To operate a pumping system under the best possible conditions, you need to :

  • define the nature and volume of spare parts;

  • Regular monitoring of machines and their environment;

  • Carry out corrective maintenance on defects detected during monitoring;

  • carry out scheduled maintenance, as defined by the manufacturer's maintenance manuals;

  • take early action to reduce downtime and operating losses. This is the role of preventive maintenance;

  • operate the installation with a constant concern for economy. The aim is to consume as little energy as possible.
