define the nature and volume of spare parts;
Regular monitoring of machines and their environment;
Carry out corrective maintenance on defects detected during monitoring;
carry out scheduled maintenance, as defined by the manufacturer's maintenance manuals;
take early action to reduce downtime and operating losses. This is the role of preventive maintenance;
operate the installation with a constant concern for economy. The aim is to consume as little energy as possible.
