Pervaporation; pervaporation
Process for separating liquid mixtures by selective transfer through a membrane, the downstream side of which is generally maintained at low pressure.
Hybrid pervaporation process; hybrid pervaporation process
A process in which pervaporation is coupled with another process such as distillation, a fermenter or a chemical reactor.
Membrane hydrophile; hydrophilic membrane
Membrane capable of extracting water from mixtures of hydroorganic liquids, used for dehydration of organic solvents.
