5. Degaussing
The degasolining stage on the processed gas, after deacidification and dehydration, separates the hydrocarbons from the methane and enables these cuts to be valorized on their respective markets. After recovery of this LNG cut made up of a mixture of ethane (C 2 ), propane (C 3 ), butanes (nC 4 and iC 4 ) or even C 5+ , it is fractionated and each of the cuts resulting from fractionation must undergo treatments in order to bring the products up to specifications (figure 36 ).
