fluide supercritique; supercritical fluid
A fluid whose pressure and temperature are simultaneously higher than its critical pressure and critical temperature. Its properties are intermediate between those of a liquid and a gas.
HydroThermal Oxidation (OHT); supercritical water oxidation
Oxidation using the properties of supercritical water. The homogeneous mixture of water, oxidant and the organic compound to be treated enables a rapid oxidation reaction lasting just a few seconds, with a destruction efficiency of over 99%.
