These industries have had to solve the problem of grinding viscous and pasty liquid materials with systems that prevent product contamination. As a result, the equipment must be easy to dismantle for cleaning.
8.1 Foodstuffs
Special grinders (Fryma type, etc.), fitted with perforated plates, pulp and grind lumpy products (fruit, cheese), or pulp and emulsify soft plastic materials (meat, fat, dried fruit). Grinding also helps to homogenize materials as diverse as fruit pulp, spreads, eggs and filter press cakes.
