  • Definitions of vesicular condition

    In many respects, liquid particles, or vesicles, are similar to solid particles, and many of the factors described in the previous paragraph apply.

    Liquid vesicles, which form a fog, can also have two main causes.

  • A mechanical cause is, for example, the tearing off of liquid droplets from a film by a high-speed gas, spraying or high-speed contact between a liquid and a moving mechanical part.

  • Drops or mists can also have a physico-chemical origin. In this case, they are submicron mists obtained by condensation.
