5. Conclusion

This article presents an overview of the main chemical and physico-chemical operations involved in the treatment of hazardous industrial liquid waste. It does not present the processes in an exhaustive manner, but focuses on their operating principles. This article does not cover the design and operation of collective treatment centers, nor stabilization-solidification techniques, which are presented elsewhere [J 2 730] . Table 25 summarizes the technologies presented vs. their main fields of application (non-exhaustive list).
