1.1 Definition of spam
Spam is an unsolicited electronic message sent en masse to a large number of recipients for advertising or malicious purposes.
Spam is also known as bulk email (UBE – Unsolicited bulk email )
The terms "pourriel" or "courrier indésirable" are sometimes used, but the term "spam" is often preferred in documentation.
The term "spam" originated in a sketch from Monty Python's Flying Circus
