4. LDIF syntax
LDIF is a syntax for representing one or more entries in text format. LDIF stands for LDAP Data Interchange Format . This format is used to display or modify database data. It is particularly useful when you don't have an advanced tool for accessing a directory.
Three main uses can be defined:
make changes to inputs ;
perform database backups ;
make basic imports and exports.
