3. IPv6 protocol: its vulnerabilities
The threats to be managed by a mobile operator are not really dependent on the IP protocol version under consideration, IPv4 or IPv6. A mobile operator must consider the protection of its infrastructures and services at the same boundaries as identified in figure 8 .
