1. RGPD constraints making data anonymization necessary

Anonymization is intended to transform personal data into data that is no longer personal, so it occupies a prominent place in the RGPD. Indeed, it is useful whenever the principles of the RGPD prevent the use of data. As such, the RGPD provides for several measures that restrict the use of data, they can be classified into two categories:

  1. limitation of data processing ;

  2. the obligation to delete data.
