6. Navigation design
During this activity, two diagrams are produced: the navigation context diagram and the navigation class diagram. The former indicates possible navigation sequences to help the user accomplish his task, while the latter specifies navigation objects (nodes and links). Designers create these two schemas from different sources. UIDs and use cases are an important aid in deriving a solid navigation model. The conceptual model, also derived from requirements, is an important source of information. Finally, designers use their own experience or that of others, for example by using navigation patterns, as described in paragraph 9
