1. Motivations for using conceptual classifications

1.1 Extracting information from texts

A typical business intelligence task involves extracting information from texts. This allows useful forms to be filled in automatically, and then summarized. Obvious applications can be found in dispatches on economic, political, cultural and other news. The example below illustrates an economic dispatch to which the FormEco form is associated.
