4. Conclusion
Today, CIOs are discovering that consulting, service and technology providers can make a new contribution to their company's performance through the use of more powerful data-driven models.
As we've seen, finding these models requires a number of methods, firstly to identify favorable domains, and secondly to discover high-performance models in massive data.
Now, if high-performance models are relatively easy to find, the difficulty lies in inserting them into the right decision mechanisms or operations for performance improvements (of the highest order, revolving around Cost, Quality, Flexibility, Lead Time or Service).
We find that the earlier these objectives are taken into account in the overall approach, the better the integration and hence the results will be. This goes hand in hand with the multiple changes...
