4. Traceability and archiving

With the dematerialization of documents, companies are faced with the legal obligation of archiving "immaterial" documents, replacing paper documents. On this point, we will first examine the legal aspects of archiving (4.1), and then look at the technical means of electronic document archiving (4.2).

First of all, it's important to distinguish between archiving, storage and backup, as these three notions are sometimes confused.
