2. Developments since 2010, what's the situation today?
Today, when we use SCRUM: quality, methodology, standards... are all present. It's all part of what we might call "normal work". In fact, SCRUM allows us to be more flexible in our organization, and undoubtedly much more efficient, while maintaining a high level of rigor. This point was not sufficiently clear in the past.
This rigor is all the more important when it comes to testing. SCRUM recommends Continuous Integration (CI) for test processing, which is not mandatory but strongly recommended. This technique makes it possible to prepare and manage tests (both functional and unit tests) while automating their execution. We could also talk about DEvOPS, also recommended by SCRUM. This technique includes CI and pushes automation right up to continuous operational deployment! We won't go into more detail here, as it would take several articles to cover all these...
