5. Battery
To know the battery level, you need a BroadcastReceiver to be informed of any change in its condition.
The BroadcastReceiver is an object that acts as an "inbox" for messages sent by the operating system. Each time this listening object receives a message, the system calls its onReceive() method.
BroadcastReceiver batteryReceiver = new BroadcastReceiver() {
public void onReceive(Context context, Intent intent) {
//TO DO
}
};
We create a filter on the messages received so as to keep only the battery level change notification messages.
