6.1 Capacity, performance and data access
One of the principles of Cloud Storage is its elasticity. Storage capacity must be "adjustable" to meet changing needs. It is a determining factor in the contract with the supplier.
Data access is provided on the workstation, which is not without its constraints. The data access chain can be long (internal networks, firewalls, public networks) and therefore have a major impact on performance. Transfer performance depends on all these complex parameters.
