6. Interpreting interferometric data
Most of the time, it is possible to make a definite statement about the nature of the interferometric measurements observed, but often only if several interferograms from the same site are available.
6.1 Signature of trajectory residues
These effects are characterized by their regularity on interferograms, where they form networks that are generally easy to identify (figure 5 ). Advances in the precise knowledge of aircraft orbits or trajectories have made them virtually obsolete, as a priori knowledge of trajectories now reduces them to almost zero.
