3.1 Reflector antennas
In the previous paragraphs, we saw antennas with low gains, and then of the order of twenty dB for horns with a large aperture. In a way, this is the limit that can be achieved with an elementary or source antenna. If you want to go beyond this limit, you need to change technology and use reflector optics or antenna arrays.
