1. Receiver performance requirements

The performance required of a listening receiver is very similar to that of an interception receiver as described in [TE 6 891] . The same superheterodyne structure and channelization filters are often used. However, there are substantial differences in some performance requirements, which are detailed below.

  • Synthesizer speed and spectral purity
