4. Conclusion
Our review of the various processes for reproducing cinematographic images on the big screen has enabled us to summarize the characteristics of professional and standard cinema formats, and to trace their technical evolution. Today, professional cinema formats are mainly variants of 35 mm (panoramic formats 1.66 and 1.85, 35 mm Scope and Super 35, the latest format which is beginning to gain market share), even if there are no set rules.
