The WorldDMB (Digital Multimedia Broadcasting) forum provides a country-by-country overview of digital radio broadcasting systems. Maps and a summary table are reproduced in the "Find out more" section.
In view of the multiplicity and slow take-up of digital radio systems, and the continuing success of analog radio, we need to try and answer the following questions, with the help of some studies carried out in a few countries where digital radio is already in service (
