6. RPL metrics
RFC 6551 defines two types of routing metrics that can be used to calculate paths:

node metrics, which take into account attributes related to a node and can be :
states or attributes that provide information about the node's characteristics, such as node load, which can be expressed in terms of CPU occupancy, memory consumed by the node, etc;
energy, which represents either the type of power supply to the node (battery, DC source, etc.), or the remaining energy;
number of hops: equivalent to the number of nodes traversed to reach...
