6. Applications and results

The now classic applications of switched-capacitor filters are as follows:

  • filters for telephone lines, fax machines, modems ;

  • medical or acoustic instrumentation filters for frequency selection ;

  • filters for very low-level detection of signals embedded in broadband noise ;

  • low-selectivity noise rejection filters for general instrumentation ;

  • anti-aliasing filters for analog-to-digital converters ;

  • center-frequency tunable filters (ranges < 100 kHz).
