2. Analog simulation

2.1 General principles – Terminology

Characterization and design of basic analog electronics functions are the main tasks of the analog simulator. The level of precision required is high.

Figure 4 shows a low-frequency amplifier. The designer can use the simulator to optimize the gain, linearity or power according to the specifications, once he has verified by simulation that the operation corresponds to his calculations.
