5. Conclusion

The Agence Nationale des Fréquences (ANF) is responsible for planning, managing and controlling the use of public radio frequencies, including private use, while at the same time enabling the emergence of new services by facilitating access to the spectrum for new, high-value-added technologies.

It has extensive expertise in both measurement techniques and modeling.

ANFR is directly involved in protecting television reception for viewers and the entire audiovisual sector, and more recently with the arrival of 4G (LTE) with regard to potential radioelectric disturbances brought about by the 700 MHz and 800 MHz bands.

Mobile Internet use is set to grow: spectrum bands will most likely be needed for future mobile broadband requirements.
