FPGA programming is carried out via a large number of memory points, enabling the hardware structure of the functionality to be configured. This configuration makes it possible to program :
LUT contents and other logic block parameters (presence of a flip-flop, reset status, use of the carry chain, etc.);
connections in routing blocks ;
initialization of memory contents ;
size and data path of arithmetic blocks ;
other programmable structures such as I/Os, clock generators, etc.
